Experience
I recently graduated from Bowdoin College where I completed a rigorous student teaching curriculum, which is where the majority of my experience teaching and tutoring comes from. I have been a tutor for three years in an elementary school classroom working one-on-one and in small groups with students in grades 1-3. I have also volunteered in several adult ESL classes as a teacher and aid. Outside of traditional teaching and tutoring, I've also worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor at a sleep-away camp with middle school aged students. Because of this position as a lifeguard I am CPR and first aid certified with the Red Cross. I'm comfortable tutoring students of all ages in a variety of settings and groups.

I've played rugby since I was in early high school and I love it so much! I love being outside and enjoying a beautiful day, whether that means spending a day hiking or enjoying a good book. I have a strong passion for education and genuinely enjoy spending time tutoring.
